Challenge
As part of a holistic research approach, we analysed the user, the market and the OBI assets. Problem analyses and life cycle testing of several solutions were carried out as well as the development of a concept and final recommendation for two practicable, desirable and feasible solutions. One of these was later implemented with kurts.toolbox, another industry partner offering a similar solution.

How can we offer new services that increase the rental tools business of OBI? Orbit has been exploring how OBI can offer new services to increase the rental equipment business. By taking existing user behaviour and commercialising it, we are radically rethinking the rental equipment service - and making OBI competitive and make OBI competitive for the future.
