Significant process simplification by making use of a free control approach on a pallet basis
Challenge
In order to optimize process efficiency, we launched an innovation campaign focused on digital solutions to identify potential for improvement. A specially developed workshop concept specifically addressed problems and solution approaches. In the subsequent ROI analysis phase, actual and target processes were mapped, supplemented by the development of specific solutions and their ROI evaluation.
Solution
Due to fragmented processes and an extensive product landscape that was mainly managed manually and analog, the company was faced with high inefficiencies and costs. These processes were to be optimized through digital innovations in order to achieve a significant increase in efficiency and annual EBIT savings.
