Revamping Workflows: Orbit Digital's Transformational Solution for Mankiewicz
Challenge
Design and development of a user-centered, mobile web application in cooperation with the specialist department. MGX increases the quality of the recorded data (IP) and creates efficient, internal work processes that can be used globally. In addition, the interface concept allows further processes to be detached from the legacy system in the future.
Solution
The aim is to move away from the legacy system, which maps the majority of internal processes from acquisition to customer support, towards a service-based IT landscape. The current system does not allow technicians to record the technical documentation relating to customers' painting processes on a mobile basis on site. In addition, performance problems and an unnecessarily complex user interface slow down the process and lead to manual workarounds and poor data quality.
